Mr Laurent Ferradini is an international HIV specialist with 10 year experience in developing countries in management, coordination and implementation of HIV/AIDS programs and operational research.
He is currently Associate Director for Care and Treatment at FHI 360 Cambodia since 2008 where he is responsible for the management of USAID and Global Fund HIV/AIDS programs providing technical assistance to local, provincial and national authorities of Cambodia for the implementation of the Continuum of Care and HIV service integration (including VCT, STI, TB, PMTCT and FP) for PLHIV and Most a Risk Populations.
He has proven strong technical advisory, capacity building, and donor and partner relations skills. Before joining FHI 360, Laurent Ferradini worked as an epidemiologist managing operational research projects on HIV/AIDS at Epicentre/MSF and was Principal Investigator of diverse studies on HIV/AIDS and TB/HIV documenting the first results of ARV treatments in developing countries in the early 2000’s.
He also has basic scientific research background in Immunology having worked for more than 10 years as a scientific researcher at the French INSERM and Pasteur Institute in Paris. Laurent Ferradini earned his MD and PhD at the Universities of Paris V and Paris VII, respectively, and his fluent in French and English, and basic in Italian.
