I am a 21 year-old male and I was recently informed by one of my former partners that she has chlamydia and she is being treated right now as I am writing this message. We are still not sure how or when she got infected but she told me to get tested for my own health. I have never experienced any symptoms that would indicate me having chlamydia but I believe it is better to get tested because in some cases people do not experience any symptoms at all.
My questions would be, what kind of tests should I do? How long should I wait after the test to get the most accurate results and how much should I expect to pay for your services + antibiotics (if the test is positive)?

Thank you for the questions. If your girl friend was diagnosed with chlamydia it will be good if you also have a urethral swab test to see whether you also infected with Chlamydia. It will take max 30 minutes to get the result in the same day. If the result is positive you will be treated with antibiotics. It depend where you get the test.
