I am a 38 years old male and I would like to inquire you about the recent HSV Type 1 IgG Ab that says *>3.5. Does it mean that the virus stay dormant in body because I have never experienced any symptoms or does it mean something else?
Good evening. Thank you for the questions. Looking at your HSV Type 1 test, it shows that previously you have been infected with Herpes Simplex 1. Yes so far it is dormant in your body because you don't experienced any symptoms like blisters.
To avoid getting the symptoms it will be good if you maintain your immune system. As long your immune system is good, Herpes outbreak will not come.
