hey doc, I got vaginal discharge... greenish yellow...and I got sore throat aswell so a doctor gave me cefixime 100 g 2x per day, could it be trichominosis? if yes, is it ok with cefixime treatment only? or? really appreciate the help
Hi there. Thank you for the questions. A greenish yellow vaginal discharge mostly not caused by trichomonas. In my experience mostly caused by bacteria Neisseria Gonorrhoeae. If you have tested and the result there is the bacteria, means you are infected with gonorrheae and Cefixime 400 mg plus a single dose pf azithromycin 1 g per oral are the drug of choise. But to make the diagnosis your vaginal discharge will have to be tested.
