Dr. Sarah Josephine, commonly known as dr. Sarah, is a dedicated general practitioner and a proud graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Trisakti, class of 2023.
During her medical studies, dr. Sarah was actively involved in the Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA-Usakti), where she honed her leadership and teamwork skills. She also competed in the Regional Medical Olympiad, earning 3rd place in the Tropical Infectious Diseases category. Her preparation for the competition deepened her expertise in sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and the microbiological aspects of these diseases.
Following graduation, she completed a one-year internship program, gaining hands-on experience in both primary and secondary healthcare settings. Working in primary care strengthened her belief in the crucial role of promotive and preventive measures in improving community health.
Dr. Sarah has a particular interest in psychiatry and tropical infectious diseases. Her passion for psychiatry began during her clinical clerkship, where she was assigned to a psychiatric hospital in Jakarta, an experience that shaped her empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
She strongly believes in holistic patient management, focusing not only on the disease but also on the patient’s comfort and well-being. Guided by the principles of non-discrimination, empathy, and respect, dr. Sarah strives to provide compassionate care to every patient she serves.
