Danny I. Yatim is a psychologist with a strong interest in reproductive health and issues related to gender and adolescent sexuality. He graduated from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Connecticut College, and Harvard University.
He has been affiliated with the Angsamerah Foundation since 2016 as an expert partner. In 2020, he began providing counseling services at the Angsamerah Clinic, focusing on sexual health, gender and sexuality, stress management, and addiction.
He has both practical and academic experience in behavior change communication, health promotion, intercultural communication, organization diversity management, counselor training, and media relations.
For 22 years, he was an adjunct lecturer at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia, teaching health psychology, adolescent psychology, counseling, intercultural collaboration, organization diversity management and academic writing. He is also a guest lecturer at the Communication Studies program at the University of Indonesia.
Currently, he is involved in advocacy for active aging through workshops and the publication of his book “Staying Active in the Golden Years: Aging Happily” (2024, in Indonesian). He also provides counseling services for senior citizens.
