Dr. Poppy developed a strong interest in understanding the human mind and behavior from an early age. Driven by this passion, she pursued her medical education at Pelita Harapan University (UPH) and graduated in 2022.
Her clinical experience in mental health was strengthened through internships at two of Indonesia’s leading psychiatric institutions: Bali Provincial Mental Hospital and the Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia, at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital (RSCM). These experiences provided her with valuable exposure to a wide range of mental health conditions and patient-centered approaches to care.
Currently, Dr. Poppy serves at Angsamerah Clinic, where she supports individuals in achieving better mental well-being through inclusive, compassionate, and stigma-free healthcare services. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their journey toward recovery and personal growth.
Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Poppy values the importance of maintaining balance between mental and physical well-being. She enjoys regular exercise and journaling, which she considers essential tools for self-reflection and emotional resilience. Guided by the belief that caring for others begins with caring for oneself, she continues to dedicate her work to promoting better mental health and enhancing the quality of life of the communities she serves.
