Inez Kristanti is a clinical psychologist with passion in sexuality, reproductive health, and gender issues. Her young spirit, warm character, and excellent analytical thinking helped her to successfully treat young adult cases. She is experienced in conducting cognitive-behavioral therapy to enhance sexual assertiveness in young women and utilizing other psychological techniques to approach wide area of psychological problems. She is particularly interested in helping women who experience difficulties understanding her sexuality.
Inez has been a part of the Angsamerah team since 2014. She co-managed the SUM II (USAID) and Angsamerah Foundation partnership project, which gave technical assistance for private clinics related to sex, HIV, and DRUGs. She then became the youth manager in Angsamerah Foundation, in which she was responsible to manage youth cases and deliver youth sexual education to schools.
Graduated with honor as a Bachelor of Psychology from Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya and as a Clinical Adult Psychologist from Universitas Indonesia, Inez is also passionate about research and teaching. She has written research articles about sexuality and women issues, and is currently focusing her research on the complexity of premarital sexual behaviors among unmarried women in Indonesia. She is also currently working as a part-time lecturer at Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Katolik Indonesia Atma Jaya.
