On Wednesday, August 24, 2016, Church World Service (CWS) and The Timor Leste Defense Force (F-FDTL) made a study visit to Klinik Yayasan Angsamerah. The CWS and F-FDTL are currently collaborating to increase HIV awareness among FFDTL members and their families, as well as to strengthen prevention efforts related to HIV and STIs. The purpose of the study visit was to learn more about the work Angsamerah has been doing related to HIV and AIDS prevention, care and treatment, as well as to explore potential areas of collaboration. In particular, CWS and F-FDTL were interested in learning more about Angsamerah’s training and support packages for medical professionals. Angsamerah will be more than happy to assist CWS and F-FDTL in their efforts.
