Dr. Athaya Ardelia, known as dr. Thea, is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Her interest in reproductive and sexual health led her to participate in a student exchange program at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Hospital Can Ruti, Barcelona, as well as an elective module on Sexually Transmitted Infections at Universitas Gadjah Mada.
During her studies, dr. Thea was active in national medical student organizations, which focus on reproductive and sexual health as well as the fulfillment of individual health rights, especially for vulnerable populations. Alongside her peers, dr. Thea established a health education platform on social media to improve health literacy among Indonesians, particularly the youth. Additionally, dr. Thea is actively involved in research and has published several scientific articles.
Dr. Thea not only aims to provide inclusive and non-discriminatory patient care but also hopes to make a meaningful contribution to society through her role as a clinician at Angsamerah.
